Dear Helen, May I take this opportunity to thank you, Darren and your staff sincerely for your valued input regarding the visit by Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh to Liverpool Town Hall on Wednesday 22nd June 2016. This historic visit was a great success and a memorable occasion for all concerned. I have received nothing but excellent feedback, the whole event really was warm, welcoming and friendly, showing the very best of Liverpool. Thanks Helen, the food was amazing. What you couldn’t have known was that my maiden name was “Mawdesley” as in Mawdesley Beef. I felt very much as though my Dad was with me on that special day.
